09-03-2022 - Port Townsend Protest. Stand for Decency Rally Port Townsend September 2022. Washington 111%, Robert Robert R Zerfing of Common Sense Conservative, Candace Mercer, Sovereign Women Speaks, April Morrow, Reverend Crystal Cox of Universal Church of Light, and more standing up for women's rights in Port Townsend Washington and Protesting the Violence put upon us by a mob of 400 people, Trans Rights Activists, Olympic Pride, the City of Port Townsend, Quimper Unitarian Church via Beau Ohlgren, the Port Townsend City Council Mayor and Manager, Antifa and ALL watched by the Port Townsend Police as we were attacked.
This Rally for Decency was to PROTEST what they did to us. These men came to PT to stand with us, to protect us so we could speak.
Our Group was bi-partisan, half of us lesbians, interracial, interfaith. We were a group of woman who simply wanted to speak. the City of Port Townsend, Quimper Unitarian Church, the YMCA, Chief Olson, Mayor David Fabor, City Manager John Mauro, Centrum, and more in the community incited a mob to attack us, assault us, run into us with bikes. Steal our belongings, destroy our property, wrap flags around our faces, pin us to the ground, the wall, taunt us and abuse us all while the Port Townsend Police Watched.
